Mundesley WI members also had a raffle ticket included in their Christmas Goody Bags. The prize was a beautiful fruit and veg hamper generously supplied by Kelly, owner of Country Pickings greengrocery in Mundesley Village. The winner was Tina Allen. One of our members Di Barnes recently suggested an idea for a competition. Each member had an envelope with a disposable facemask put through their doors with instructions inviting them to decorate the mask using any medium they chose. The prize would be a £20 voucher for Mundesley Butchers. When Kim went to purchase the voucher the owner of Mundesley Butchers kindly offered to go halves with us on the cost. How lovely was that? Wednesday 16th December 28 members of Mundesley WI received Christmas Goody bags. Members of our committee had been very busy over the past few weeks crafting and sourcing items to put in the bags. Carol Spencer made some beautiful snowflake tree decorations, festive beaded keyrings, put together a Christmas carol Quiz and supplied sachets of Cadburys hot chocolate. 15 members of Mundesley WI took the first of two socially distant walks for the ACWW. We had a group of 6 a group of 5 and a group of 4 all walking various routes around our lovely village. Mundesley Parish Council organised and sponsored the annual Mundesley Pageant. Mundesley WI was asked to provide home-made mince pies, cakes and serve the refreshments at the end of event in Coronation Hall. Our WI members came up trumps and provided mince pies, jam tarts, cup cakes and sausage rolls. Our WI members kept the table replenished and the hot and cold drinks flowing!
