We were invited to partake in the flower show at the Church in Gimingham. 9 members of our WI took up the challenge and produced a lovely display of flowers. Mundesley WI held its second outside meeting on Monday. On this occasion, we made use of our marquee to shelter us from the forecast rain, which thankfully, after all, didn't put in an appearance. 22 members enjoyed watching our first speaker of the year, Crystal Dyball, a very talented flower arranger, who gave us lots of tips and amusing anecdotes as she created her floral masterpieces. On Monday 17th May, 20 members of Mundesley WI gathered for a social garden party at Kim Salmon's home. Kim baked, amongst other items, some lush carrot cupcakes to welcome us to our first get-together for 8 long months. 10 of our ladies braved a cold wind with intermittent sunshine to meet up for the first of our SD Sixer Picnic’s in the Memorial Gardens here in Mundesley this morning.
