Mundesley WI is saddened by the recent death of a very dear former member Gloria Seeman. Gloria was a member of Mundesley WI for over 20 years and was very active within our earlier amateur dramatics group. Gloria trained as  a professional ballet dancer in her younger days and eventually became a Tiller Girl travelling all over the country and meeting many famous people from the world of entertainment. ‘Mundesley WI was very saddened to hear of the death of our, long-standing, highly respected, and very dear member Hazel Collingham. Hazel had been a member of Mundesley WI for over 70 years and for 65 of those years she brought the milk for our teas and coffees. A brilliant pianist who for many decades played the organ in All Saints Church Mundesley. Not just for Sunday services but weddings and funerals too. Mundesley WI is very sad to announce that Barbara Stratfull passed away peacefully at her home in October following a long illness bravely borne. Until recently Barbara had been a member of Mundesley WI  for several years and a member of Ridlington WI prior to that. At the Annual Mundesley Parish Meeting held at the Coronation Hall on Monday 13th May 2019 Mundelsey WI were presented with a grant cheque for £500 by David Harding, Chairman of the Parish Council.  Carol Spencer and Hazel Steeples accepted the cheque on behalf of the Mundesley WI.
