One of our members Di Barnes recently suggested an idea for a competition. Each member had an envelope with a disposable facemask put through their doors with instructions inviting them to decorate the mask using any medium they chose. The prize would be a £20 voucher for Mundesley Butchers. When Kim went to purchase the voucher the owner of Mundesley Butchers kindly offered to go halves with us on the cost. How lovely was that? Our judge was to be Heather Jeary a member of the WI Board of Trustees Norfolk Federation. Heather is also an official WI judge so we knew we were in good hands.17 members took part and our winner was Joan Walker.
