On Tuesday 7th June 2022 Mundesley WI held a 1950’s themed afternoon tea party in honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. We also celebrated one of our much-loved members, Pam Malone’s 90th Birthday. We had spam sandwiches, jelly and tinned fruit with evaporated milk plus, of course, cake. Lots of it. Iris won the fancy dress competition, cleverly creating her lovely green dress and pillbox hat from a quilt cover. We also welcomed special guests, Board of Trustee members, Carol Makins and Heather Jeary. My WISP (Keith) was our waiter for the afternoon.
